1% for the Planet

Soar Organics is a proud member of 1% for the Planet. As dedicated members, we donate a minimum 1% of all sales to environmental and social nonprofit organizations that are committed to creating positive change within the world.

Food Stash Foundation

Food Stash Foundation is a Registered Canadian Charity based out of Vancouver, Canada. They were founded in 2016 on a mission to improve our environment while feeding individuals and families in need.

Food Stash rescues surplus perishable food directly from suppliers (grocery stores, restaurants, etc.) and redirects it to those experiencing food insecurity within the community. This initiative also helps diminish the environmental impact of food waste that would otherwise end up in the landfill.

Did you know that 1 in 10 households in British Columbia experience food insecurity? The estimated value of food waste in Canada alone is 49.5 billion dollars. Source: foodstash.ca.
